Marketing Manager - 12 month Fixed Term

As the new Marketing Manager, you are taking on a key role within the marketing team at Keypath. This role requires you to utilise and develop your skills in horizontal leadership, data & insights, strategic & creative thinking to solve problems & realise opportunities, campaign implementation and management, MVP testing and learning. In addition, you will own and execute the go-to-market and in-market strategy for your course portfolio with our top University partners.

As we embrace the new ways of working using agile marketing principles to guide the way we work, you will play a critical role in an agile squad to deliver the best outcomes to our students, the University partner, and the business. In this position, you lead the team through the planning, execution and retrospective process during Sprints and ensure accountability and on-time project delivery in your Squad.

This is an exciting opportunity with a focus on fast-paced business growth and experimentation. As this role creates real business outcomes, your Squad’s work outcomes are highly visible to the executive leadership team.

While working on optimising the customer journey from enquiry to graduation, you will work closely with various internal functions, such as the sales, student retention and product development teams, as well as our university partners.

Our business is highly numbers-driven. Using data across the student life cycle, you’ll identify and drive quality leads, optimise conversation rates, and improve the student experience up to graduation.

Further responsibilities in this role are:

  • Responsible for leading cross-functional Agile project teams (Squads), driving strategic marketing projects
  • Actively seek out and test new channels and creative solutions, embracing our test, learn, scale culture
  • Using data insights across the student life cycle to identify and drive more qualified leads, improve conversion rates & student retention
  • Collaborating with the Insights and Strategy team on optimising and innovating our go-to-market and in-market marketing strategies
  • Leading performance excellence through integrated and always-on campaigns
  • Overseeing and management of face-to-face events with prospective and current/past students (such as conferences, student networking events etc.) and measurement of their effectiveness
  • Training/overseeing the training of Enrolment Advisors on the target customer for each product, the product, and the customer value proposition
  • Collaborate on the development of brand and product messaging matrices, ensuring creative execution aligns and effectively communicates the brand & product differentiators, values and benefits at the right times along the student journey
  • Monitor and manage the optimisation of inflight campaigns to ensure lead and conversion rate targets and budgets are achieved; data analysis and reporting to provide insight to drive improved campaigns and customer experience
  • Create performance reports in line with business rhythms for your course portfolio

What we’re looking for:

Education

  • Relevant tertiary degree

Experience

  • Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, including post-campaign reporting
  • Experience working in lead generation, content marketing or direct marketing with a focus on performance-based marketing, measurement and analytics
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies with SMART objectives
  • Experience in Agile marketing principles (desired)
  • Strong account service/stakeholder management skills
  • Horizontal team leadership and mentoring skills (desired)
  • Experience in content production (desired)

Technical/Further Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in using data for reporting, budgeting, forecasting and delivering insights to drive improvement and innovation
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills
  • Strong project management skills (Agile marketing principles, predominately kanban and scrum) (desired)

Special requirements

  • Interstate travel may be required
