Overview

Our client is an industry leading tech platform in Asia. They are currently looking for a Head of Marketing candidate, who will play a crucial role in delivering the company’s long-term vision and growth ambitions.

The ideal candidate is a strong commercial or product marketing leader who is analytical, strategic, and capable of understanding and implementing product/customer experience insights. They should have experience in digital and segment marketing and will lead both B2C and B2B segments across all marketing communication touchpoints.

What You Will Do

  • Based in Hong Kong, the Head Of Marketing will play a crucial role in delivering the company’s long-term vision and growth ambitions by:
  • Driving the strategic marketing direction and proposition in Hong Kong
  • Developing the strategic marketing plan in alignment with the business objectives of the country.
  • Providing inputs to the strategic local and regional programs, championing the needs of the local market and consumers.
  • Leading and overseeing the country's marketing operations/plans and driving achievement of brand and business performance metrics, such as acquisition, usage, and retention.
  • Creating and executing local insights-driven programs, including segmentation plans, social media management, PR programs, partnerships, and performance marketing.
  • Proactively evaluating and understanding market needs in relation to products and services offered, ensuring our offerings are competitive and ahead of industry requirements to provide exceptional service that results in customer loyalty.
  • Building and driving a team of motivated individuals committed to organizational purpose and goals, instilling in them the values and culture of SEEK Asia.
  • Ensuring smooth teamwork between local teams, regional counterparts, and inter-unit partners, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • The Team you will work closely with includes:
  • The Chief Marketing Officer, Regional Head Of Country Marketing, and the regional functional teams within Marketing (Digital Marketing, Martech, Social/PR, Segment Marketing, and Brand).
    Hong Kong leadership team; Managing Director, Sales, Operations & Finance.
    Various cross-functional teams in the organization such as Product and Technology Team, Commercial Excellence, Product Delivery, Regional Sales Operations, etc.

What You Will Need

  • Strong leadership experience in leading a marketing team of 9-10.
  • At least 10 years of experience in 360 B2C & B2B Marketing.
  • Highly preferred candidates from Technology, Telecommunication, FMCG, Recruitment Agency, management consulting industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading a Marketing team with full-funnel marketing exposure.
  • A bachelor’s degree or MBA from a reputable institution.
  • Trilingual both written and spoken – English, Cantonese & Mandarin (preferred).
  • 15 years of experience in consumer-facing organisations, digital or online business with strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proven experience in developing creative, fact-based growth strategies.
  • Highly analytical, structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for experimentation and growth hacking.
  • Ownership, drive – delivering outcomes with cross-functional, cross-market teams.
  • Ability to establish relationships and influence senior stakeholders from a range of cultures.
  • Collaborative and empathetic work style.
  • A high degree of humility and willingness to “get stuck in”
