Marketing Intern

ZINIO is looking for a Marketing Intern in their Barcelona office.

ZINIO brings innovation and inspiration to the world of magazine publishers and consumers by delivering the ultimate digital reading experience on any device. As a pioneer in this sector, ZINIO works with every major magazine publisher in the world.  We operate online newsstands and award-winning mobile-optimized iOS and Android apps in more than 30 languages, providing access to digital magazines that can be read online and offline on any platform. Zinio also develops Newsstands, Readers, Libraries, API-services, and PDF-to-XML conversion for partners with major white label clients across the world making use of our products.  

The company has delivered 750M digital magazine editions across more than 8,500 titles from 1,300 publishers in 200 countries to over 10M customers. Headquartered in NYC, the company has offices in San Francisco, Barcelona, London, and Ho Chi Minh City.

What you will be doing:

The Marketing Intern will be handling day to day marketing activities within ZINIO which includes preparing and launching the promotional efforts as well as being involved in the creative and strategic processes.

We are looking for a very organized person who can plan their own time based on the tasks that need to be completed that week with great attention to detail. Outside of being organized, you need to be flexible in order to carry out last-minute requests. This position involves working in a team as well as individually, meaning you will work closely with others but also have your own responsibilities. You will be responsible for managing ZINIO’s Explore and Featured sections and actively be a part of the launching of campaigns that involve creative sessions, preparation, set up, and quality control. 

Key responsibilities:

• Creation and management of promotional efforts
• Managing customer retention offers
• Updating the Explore and Featured sections following guidelines and reporting
• Assist in promotional analyses
• Setting up and documenting work processes related to your tasks
