Apprenticely is working with our company partner, 5G Consulting to add Marketing Graphic Designer Intern to their team in Northwest Arkansas!

Our Apprenticely Internship Program is a three-month program that places selected candidates with employers across Arkansas in IT positions to gain experience under the guidance of a professional mentor. Internships are designed as an on-ramp to an IT career and can roll into full-time positions based on employer demand.

About the Employer: 
We are a sales consulting firm that specializes in navigating the complex sales landscape of Walmart, Sam’s Club and other retail and online businesses. We produce consistent sales results with the world’s largest retailer across multiple categories. We currently represent over 1.2 billion in annual sales to Walmart and Sam’s Club. What You'll Do:

  • Design and develop marketing materials such as digital ads, social media graphics, and print materials that are visually appealing and effectively communicate the 5G's clients intended message.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather design requirements and feedback, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's website to ensure that content is up-to-date, accurate, and optimized for search engines. 
  • Organize and manage digital assets such as photos, videos, and graphics for easy access and sharing. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and design software to continuously improve design skills and  techniques. 

What Skills Does an Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, iOS, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Zoom or other similar tools.  
  • A thorough understanding of branding and marketing
  • An online portfolio that demonstrates skills and creativity
  • Knowledge or experience with content creation, management, or production
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Application such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Nice to have but not necessary knowledge of Power Bi and Python
  • Basic coding experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Exhibited technical aptitude through projects, experience, or online learning and ability to communicate what you know
  • Stellar customer service, and Amazing attention to Details
  • Current Arkansas state resident
  • Ability to work full-time in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship

Our Must Haves:

  • Current Arkansas state resident
  • Ability to pass a standard background check
  • Ability to work 36-40 hours a week, following the three-month internship
  • Ability to work full-time in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship
  • Technical aptitude exhibited through projects, experience, or online learning and the ability to communicate what you know

Details:

  • Pay Range: $15-$18/hour, depending on experience
  • Schedule: 36-hour week: typically 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday
  • Length of Internship: 3 months with the potential to convert to a full-time opportunity based on employer demand
  • Location: 5G Consulting in Bentonville, Arkansas

How does the interview process work? Apprenticely will conduct an initial phone interview and assessment. Apprenticely will send selected resumes to companies that match the candidate’s skills and interests. Our employer partners will decide who to interview and select the final candidates for the internship program.
