We are building a business development team. We are looking for a full-time Marketing Design Associate to create elegant and compelling narrative-based visuals for prospective customers from the armed services to Fortune 500 Companies.
Please note this is not a remote role. We are in our Washington, DC office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and work from home on Mondays and Fridays. As such, we are only considering candidates who live in the DC metro area or who are willing to move there.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop visually engaging marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content, tailored to various customer segments such as the armed services and Fortune 500 companies.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to conceptualize and execute design projects that effectively communicate the value proposition of Bedrock’s products.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials, ensuring alignment with Bedrock’s visual identity and messaging guidelines.
- Create and manage a library of visual assets, including templates, icons, and graphics, to support ongoing marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Utilize feedback from internal teams and customers to refine and improve design outputs, ensuring high quality and relevance to target audiences.

Requirements
What Qualities and Qualifications Do We Want?
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Two to five years of experience in marketing design, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools (including Figma and PowerPoint).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including digital and print materials.
- Excellent visual storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling narratives through design.
- Strong understanding of brand identity and how to maintain consistency across various channels.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
- Keen attention to detail and a passion for staying current with design trends and best practices.
