Marketing Coordinator (Mexico)

Downtown Artist & Label Services is looking for an Artist & Label Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is a bilingual creative, self-motivated individual with professional music industry experience. This person will provide administrative support for all marketing efforts, and has knowledge of the Regional Mexican/Música Mexicana, Hip-Hop/Rap music genre landscape.

This role is open to candidates based in Mexico (preferably Mexico City) and all surrounding areas.

What you'll be doing do: 

  • Support Marketing Managers efforts with client, DSP & internal requests
  • Liaise with Marketing Managers to share and customize incoming promotional materials and client communications
  • Manage internal promotions database with an eye for detail and the ability to communicate updates
  • Consistently report DSP results and supportive analytics
  • Communicate streaming, play-listing and digital sales and streaming results to throughout the Downtown Music Services organization
  • Any other related services; and any other services as customer may reasonably request

You are / have: 

  • Knowledge of current and future trends in music with some knowledge of digital distribution and an established network within relevant artist, industry and influencer communities
  • Deep understanding of emerging and established streaming and social platforms
  • Understanding of industry best practices for various accounts & retailers, marketing and operational front
  • Excellent communication skills both in English & Spanish, with experience of building and maintaining internal and external relationships as well as writing pitches and combining multiple elements of a campaign into a cohesive story
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to set and consistently meet deadlines
