We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join Lightspeed’s Golf Marketing team. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, Golf and working closely with all channel specialists, you will be responsible for coordinating a wide range of marketing initiatives and ensuring the timely, effective delivery of the Golf marketing roadmap.
Specifically, you will lead the execution of media buys, events/tradeshows and support the delivery of product marketing programs that are critical to the team’s success.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the execution of media buys with key golf industry partners from briefing the creation of assets to coordinating asset launch and reporting on results
- Create and coordinate Lightspeed Golf’s presence at industry tradeshows and events to ensure we stand out against the competition
- Coordinate the delivery of customer marketing initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Support and Product
- Coordinate partner marketing initiatives with industry counterparts to develop and execute co-marketing campaigns
- Develop marketing briefs and conduct creative team briefings for the tactics you lead
- Oversee creative team capacity planning to support the delivery of the Golf Marketing roadmap (including the initiatives that you own)
- Ensure effective project management across the Golf Marketing roadmap using JIRA (project management tool). You will be building and maintaining task tickets with clear task descriptions / briefs, timelines and any additional info for the content & design team to complete work
- Proactively identify problems that may arise within projects and propose solutions
- Conduct project post-mortems in coordination with project owners and document key learnings to ensure processes & outputs are improved with each project
- Support on market research initiatives that inform product positioning such as competitive analysis and monitoring
- Support on the creation and execution of product launch programs and customer marketing initiatives
- Support on the delivery of communications and PR initiatives in collaboration with the Brand team
What you need to bring:
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
- 2+ years of experience in Marketing Coordination, Marketing Management or a Project Management/Creative Operations role within Marketing
- Ability to understand and own the delivery of all project deliverables required
- Thorough understanding of project planning, creative operations / marketing asset production processes.
- Bias to action - you take initiative, prioritize tasks, proactively flag issues and collaborate on solutions
- Flexible in responding to changes in business priorities; proven ability to work effectively and efficiently under multiple, competing deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills in English. French is an asset though not required.
- Proven ability to interface with all levels of management with confidence
- Proven ability to meet project deadlines
- Thrives working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Experience with JIRA (project management platform) is a plus
- Degree in marketing or business (optional), or proven industry experience
