About Prelim
Prelim is a fast-growing, remote-first startup revolutionizing the banking industry. Our platform transforms how banks onboard customers, providing innovative solutions for both online and in-branch experiences. Our team, distributed across the U.S., is driven by a single mission: to simplify banking access for everyone, one institution at a time.

At Prelim, we cultivate a high-performance culture where talented individuals thrive. We’re not just building technology—we’re reimagining an entire industry. If you’re passionate about solving complex problems, making an impact, and working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, Prelim is the place for you.

Why we're looking for you
With 3x year-over-year growth, Prelim is scaling fast, and the demand for our product continues to grow. However, we’ve reached a point where we need a dedicated, strategic Product Marketing Manager to own the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our solutions.

As the first Product Marketing Manager at Prelim, you won’t just be executing campaigns—you’ll be defining the role itself. You’ll be responsible for developing a product marketing strategy that can grow with us, and you’ll have the freedom to make a significant impact on how we bring our product to market. We need someone smart, resourceful, and ready to get their hands dirty as we scale to the next level.

What you'll do
This is not a plug-and-play role. You’ll be in charge of building the product marketing function from scratch. That means everything from crafting go-to-market strategies to developing product messaging and leading launches will be in your hands.

You’ll work closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to drive awareness, adoption, and customer success. You’ll have ownership over how our product is positioned to customers, and you’ll help define our competitive strategy in a rapidly evolving space.

Key Responsibilities

  • As the first Product Marketing Manager, you’ll create and own the go-to-market strategy for new product launches, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Develop product messaging and positioning that communicates Prelim’s value proposition in a clear and compelling way.
  • Work directly with product and sales teams to deeply understand our customer base and develop strategies that drive product adoption.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to ensure product launches are successful and resonate with target audiences.
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitors to stay ahead of industry trends and inform our product marketing strategies.
  • Create impactful sales enablement materials, including presentations, case studies, and product collateral.
  • Build systems to measure and optimize product marketing efforts based on performance data.

What You’ll Bring

  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to build something from the ground up. You’re excited about the opportunity to define the role of Product Marketing at Prelim.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with a talent for distilling complex ideas into clear and concise messaging.
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies and product positioning in competitive markets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions and optimize strategies.
  • A relentless focus on results—you’re driven to make an impact and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • A willingness to adapt quickly, pivot when necessary, and thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

A few of our benefits

  • Equity
  • Full health, vision, and dental insurance
  • Parental Leave
  • Remote Office Setup Stipend
  • Wellness Stipend
