The Marketing Associate will develop and execute event marketing plans, integrating online, email and social for IMN’s conferences with an aim to drive delegate/sponsorship revenue, generate inbound leads and overall event attendance. We are looking for an entry-level marketer who is pro-active and passionate about event marketing, with a commitment to innovating and growing our events with every campaign.
Core responsibilities:
- Drive the strategic direction of a portfolio of events to maximize demand generation and ROI. Communicate marketing event strategy with Senior Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing and event team.
- Generate customer acquisition via digital marketing channels, including email, search, display, social, external partner marketing collaborations. Closely audit program and campaign performance.
- Manage the development and production of event related marketing content and creative materials including customized communication and collateral for event campaigns and key clients in collaboration with event team and in-house design. Work with in-house designer to ensure event display accurately represents the IMN brand.
- Gather and track ROI, engagement analytics and feedback to consistently assess opportunities for improvement and support the ongoing marketing strategy.
- Build and manage databases, ensuring our data is kept up-to-date, targeted, and relevant for every event campaign. This will involve regular use of our CRM system and excel.
- Master email marketing by utilizing Adestra and other platforms to design and implement effective campaigns. Continuously analyze campaign performance to optimize delivery and achieve measurable results.
- Maintaining company website across event profiles to ensure content is current and optimized.
- Establish partnerships with relevant organizations to promote conferences via digital and print media
- Manage and control marketing spend and budget.
- Produce a post conference campaign analysis for each event using relevant analytics tools to track performance.
- Bachelor’s in marketing or related discipline and/or recognized marketing certification
- Ability to work to deadlines and multitask projects
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Team player
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with utilizing social media platforms (LinkedIn and Twitter preferred)
- Metric driven and able to draw insight from complex marketing data
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally without restrictions that might affect visa applications
- The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000 depending on experience
