Marketing Assistant (Temporary)

Based: El Segundo, CA – In Office
Term: Part Time
Salary: $20 per hour, flexible schedule

The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our team in person at our El Segundo, CA office. The ideal candidate will manage loaner stock, coordinate event gear, handle various shipping tasks, and support product and media audits.

This position interfaces with the US sales and marketing teams. It reports to the Vice President of Marketing and is within the Marketing Department.

Core responsibilities:

  • Loaner Stock Management: Locate stock from storage, create FedEx labels, and manage shipment pick-ups and returns
  • Event Gear Coordination: Find, pack, log, ship, receive, break down, and restore gear for events
  • Ad-hoc Shipping Tasks: Handle shipping tasks for swag and other items as needed
  • NetSuite Marketing SKU Management: Product orders and loan management
  • Marketing Support: Assist with any auditing tasks related to artists, events or campaigns that brand managers require
  • On going ad-hoc marketing, event and admin tasks as needed

Abilities and Attributes:

  • Any experience in event coordination or a similar process driven role is a plus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrates a willingness to contribute and take necessary actions to support team objectives
  • Possesses a can-do attitude, hard-working and ready to assist
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Fast learner of new software and processes
  • Diligent and proactive
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong working experience of Microsoft office programs (Excel & Word)
  • Some knowledge of NetSuite, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook is beneficial
  • Must be able to lift/move packages/boxes weighing minimum 40 pounds
  • Must be able to be actively moving up to 50% of the time (moving between office space and storage, sorting boxes, packing out equipment)

Qualifications:

  • Must be available for 15-20 hours a week. Schedule can be flexible, but afternoons will be preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • We anticipate this temporary position to last 9 - 12 months
