We're looking for an ambitious individual who will relish being part of our institutional marketing team. In this role you'll support the capital raising activity for multiple funds across the globe.  

Reporting into our Senior Marketing Manager, this role forms part of a growing Institutional Marketing team, which sits as part of Octopus’ Global Institutional Distribution Team. This team has over 15+ distribution professionals who work across multiple international markets. 

This is an exciting role for an ambitious, talented marketer in the early stages of their career, to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial company. The role will be responsible for delivering marketing in support of our global institutional distribution strategy. 

What will you be doing? 

  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to support with the setting, project management, execution and roll out of campaigns including defining targeting, creating content, deciding on the channel mix and creating promotional assets. 

  • Assist with new and periodic updates to marketing content including presentation decks, case-for documents, and teasers helping to ensure all our content aligns to our distribution strategy and messaging.

  • Manage BAU website updates through to production, as well as the creation and delivery of regular stakeholder email campaigns.

  • Help manage campaigns through to execution in conjunction with our centralised marketing teams, as well as working with our Comms and Content teams to ensure that media and thought leadership content is remarketed on our digital channels. 

  • Report against key KPIs and take learnings into future programmes. 

  • Help ensure all our activity is financially compliant. 

  • Be a gatekeeper of quality – create best-in-market content whilst demonstrating attention to detail. 

✅ Experience as a marketer, or a relevant marketing or finance qualification. 

✅ Good understanding of current socio-economic themes  

✅ Content marketing knowledge and interest 

✅ Great organisational and project management skills and ability to work to deadlines, multitask and provide meticulous attention to detail 

✅ Good at building and managing relationships with a range of stakeholders 

✅ Positive, tenacious and can-do approach. Proactive and energetic approach to marketing 

✅ Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, and willingness to 'pitch in' as required in a rapidly growing organisation and a large marketing function
