About the role
We're looking for a Marketing and Social Media Intern to join our Growth team and help spread the word about Craft across various channels.
We want your initiative and fresh ideas, and provide the opportunity to work on a mix of digital marketing initiatives to showcase our product and engage with our community. From social media to content creation, email campaigns, landing pages to market research, you'll get a taste of it all.
You'll have real impact, working alongside our growth and product teams to shape Craft's voice in the digital world. Also, you will get the chance to learn how a world-class startup company operates, and sharpen your skillset.
What you'd get to do
This is an overview of possible tasks:
•
Support the team in day-to-day marketing operations and ad-hoc projects
•
Help us manage and grow our presence across social platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, LinkedIn, and maybe even TikTok if you can convince us)
•
Create and curate content across various platforms (blog, social media, email)
•
Stay on top of social trends and propose innovative ways to leverage them
•
Engage with our community, turning followers into fans
•
Assist in managing our website including our blog
•
Help develop and implement marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition and engagement
•
Track and analyze performance metrics, and learn how to translate them into actionable insights
•
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform our marketing strategies
•
Collaborate with our design and product teams to showcase new features in ways that make people go "I need that!"
What we're looking for
We're after someone who's passionate about marketing, eager to learn, and isn't afraid to bring fresh ideas to the table. Here's what we're looking for:
•
A creative mind with strong written and verbal communication skills in English (meme fluency is a plus)
•
Familiarity with digital marketing channels (social media, email, content marketing)
•
Basic understanding of marketing analytics and metrics
•
Keen eye for design and visual storytelling and a working "cringe" radar
•
Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Management, Communications, or a related field (or self-taught with a great portfolio)
•
A genuine interest in productivity tools and technology (you don't need to be a tech guru, but enthusiasm goes a long way)
Bonus points for
•
Experience with graphic design tools like Figma or Photoshop
•
Familiarity with marketing email automation or CRM tools
•
Video editing skills (think TikTok-level, not Hollywood blockbuster)
•
Familiarity with major social media platforms and their unique quirks
•
Familiarity with project management tools (bonus if you've used Craft before!)
TLDR: We're looking for someone who's creative, precise and detail oriented, but can also zoom out to the big picture; who is eager to learn, who speaks up and gives honest opinions, and wants to find joy in working on an amazing product with a great team.
Our culture
Partnership is crucial for our mission to turn bold ideas into reality. Only together we can make this possible, bringing together our talents to create software that not only meets expectations but sets new standards. We'd love to build this partnership also with you, and believe it will have lasting impact on your career trajectory.
We believe that challenges are gateways to growth, and at Craft, we embrace them. Every obstacle is an opportunity to learn, adapt, and excel. In our constant pursuit of excellence, we prioritize impactful results over perfection. Our team is encouraged to take risks and push boundaries, knowing that this is how great products are built. This applies even more to marketing, and means you will have a lots of opportunities to shape your own work. Of course, there is always support available when you don't know how to continue.
Ownership and transparency guide our daily work. We own the outcome and our decisions along the way, taking responsibility for our actions and their impact on our community. We overcommunicate to ensure that every team member is aligned and moving together as one cohesive unit, making informed decisions that drive us forward.
We foster an environment where initiative is rewarded, and everyone has the authority to make decisions that enhance our offerings and improve our workflows.
