About the role

The Marketing and Communications Executive will take ownership of the marketing, communications and PR functions for Broadplace. This is a dynamic role that involves managing social media channels, creating and distributing high-quality digital content, and contributing to the lead generation process. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Marketing Executive, who is ready to take on a bigger role with ownership of the Marketing, Communication and PR activities to elevate the agency’s brand presence.

Role responsibilities

Day-to-day tasks:

  • Create and distribute engaging digital content, including blogs and social media posts
  • Manage and grow Broadplace’s social media presence across various platforms
  • Track and report on KPIs, including website traffic, engagement and social performance using Google Analytics
  • Oversee the company CRM, reporting on lead generation
  • Manage email marketing campaigns to ensure timely and relevant communication with target audiences

Ongoing responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the company website, ensuring content is up to date and optimised
  • Identify award opportunities and submit entries on behalf of Broadplace
  • Lead PR initiatives to promote the brand and enhance its visibility
  • Plan and execute company events and networking activities
  • Oversee the creation of company collateral, blogs, case studies, and regular newsletters
  • Manage community engagement across digital platforms and maintain Broadplace’s presence on external profiles
  • Regular newsletter creation
  • Coordinate welcome packs and merchandise distribution
  • Manage data within HubSpot for lead generation and tracking
  • Manage video content production to support marketing goals

KPIs:

  • Increase traffic and engagement for blog and digital content
  • Boost social media traffic and engagement metrics
  • Generate detailed traffic and lead reports via Google Analytics
  • Track and report the number of leads created within the CRM
  • Measure success in PR (e.g. event participation, shortlists, leads generated)

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Marketing and Communications Executive role, preferably in a B2B setting
  • Excellent written and verbal English with impeccable spelling and grammar
  • Ability to produce creative and informative content that supports business goals
  • Proven experience in managing successful business social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok)
  • Demonstrable experience managing successful paid social strategies
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at Board level
  • Strong collaborative skills, able to work closely with the in-house sales and marketing teams
  • Familiarity with CRMs (e.g. HubSpot) and lead generation processes
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Analytics
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and how content can contribute to optimisation
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Commitment to maintaining consistency across the company’s branding and marketing channels
  • Commercial mindset with a clear understanding of how marketing efforts impact wider business goals

Desirable skills:

  • Knowledge or experience in PPC and SEO
  • Experience with lead generation strategies
  • HubSpot CRM experience
  • Experience in Influencer Marketing
