We are hiring a Marketing & Communications Director on behalf of our client in the legal sector of the Professional Services industry. The organisation in question is a leading law firm in the process of rebrading and this new executive position is part of this transformation. The role will take holistic responsibility for all marketing and communications related actions, including digital marketing, communications, PR, and brand.
The Marketing & Communications Director will collaborate closely with the firm’s leadership to create and execute a comprehensive marketing and brand strategy that aligns with the organisation’s business goals while leading a team to implement them. To achieve this, he/she will be responsible for effective resource allocation, leveraging digital marketing tools, data analytics, and performance tracking to optimise performance and deliver results, demonstrating return on investment on marketing initiatives.
The role will oversee internal and external communication efforts, maintaining consistent messaging across platforms while underlying the client’s leading position in their industry. It will direct digital marketing, public relations, content creation, and event management and after completing the brand strategy is anticipated to expand into sales to support client acquisition and develop long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive marketing and brand strategy for an industry-leading firm.
- Lead all marketing activities, creating and executing the annual marketing plan.Build and scale a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration & innovation.
- Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact & ROI.
- Oversee digital marketing, public relations, content creation, and event management.
- Create and enhance digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels to maximise effectiveness and reach.
- Monitor marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies to maximise results, and communicate results to senior leadership.
- Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results, and industry trends, and translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team.
- Drive internal and external communication efforts to enhance the firm's visibility and reputation.
- Establish and manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and media outlets.
- Formulate the Public Relations Strategy and ensure its execution, collaborating with external and internal resources.
- Communicate the firm's values and commitments, including ESGinitiatives.
- Proactively monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for engagement and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and target business development opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field;
- A Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing and / or communications and I or in advertising, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a history of creating, inspiring and managing successful marketing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute annual marketing plans while overseeing budgeting processes.
- Expertise in brand management.
- Expertise in digital marketing and content marketing.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and experience in enhancing digital campaigns across multiple channels.
- Ability to monitor competitor activities and industry trends to inform marketing strategies.
- Proven track record designing and executing successful communications campaigns.
- Familiarity with key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results, and consumer trends.
- Proficiency in monitoring, analysing, and communicating marketing results.
- Ability to translate insights from metrics into actionable strategies for the marketing team.
- Experience in identifying business development opportunities.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to create and maintain strong client relationships.
- Project management skills, demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent Greek and English reading, writing and speaking skills.
