About the role:

Demandbase is looking for an experienced Marketing Analytics Manager who is detail-oriented, comfortable manipulating multiple data sources, and can confidently provide actionable insights to fast-paced revenue teams. This is a very strategic position, providing key insights not only to the marketing team but also to sales and senior leadership. While this is an individual contributor role, this person will work closely with others across the company, especially with other members of the revenue operations team, demand generation marketers, and the sales development organization.

The ideal candidate will become an expert in Demandbase’s systems and database structure, and will guide stakeholders to make impactful decisions on new and existing marketing programs, pipeline forecasting and performance, data architecture, and high priority initiatives in order to accomplish Demandbase’s aggressive growth goals. As a strategic contributor, you will have the opportunity to implement change in the way that we view our data, utilize information to take action, and influence how we operate as a company.

If you’re passionate about diving deeply into the data (and nerding out over what you find), owning and creating your own processes for innovative and advanced analytics use cases, and being an important piece of the conversation in a high growth and high visibility role, Demandbase is looking for you!

The base compensation range for this role, no including bonus, is: $80,000 - $130,000

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and leadership teams to deliver actionable insights that will provide deeper understanding into marketing program and pipeline performance and influence decisions for marketing program strategy, pipeline management, program optimizations, and overall budget management.
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders to create and manage reports and dashboards to understand insights and trends that will enable better decision making for marketing and sales.
  • Identify and interpret key metrics that indicate success and influence growth in multiple areas for the revenue organization as a whole, and provide recommendations based on any uncovered trends and insights.
  • Provide end-to-end support to the marketing team to ensure proper infrastructure and reporting capabilities are in place to support segmented growth goals and campaign/program performance visibility. Proactively implement any reporting requirements ahead of campaigns launching and assist with gathering results and success metrics.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis on critical business initiatives and provide answers to strategic organizational questions.
  • Become a product expert in Demandbase One and utilize its functionality in your day-to-day operations.
  • Optimize, expand, and document our data-oriented processes and help others learn the best ways to leverage our database and systems.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5 years minimum in a marketing operations, revenue operations, or sales operations role with a focus on data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with experience managing data sets, creating data processes and structure, and building reports and dashboards
  • Advanced knowledge of SFDC; object relationships, data architecture, campaign management, workflows and third party integrations
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, CRM Analytics) or attribution (Bizible) is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and perform in a high-volume and fast-paced environment without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Someone who desires ownership and control of their role, always asks why, and isn’t afraid to provide their own recommendations or question the status quo
  • Someone who is highly organized, documents everything, always dedupes their data, and thinks about the ripple effects of implementing a change
  • Someone who is excited about jumping into a complex MarTech stack and dreams about peeling away the layers in a data set to understand the root cause of an issue

Benefits:

Our benefits include options for up to 100% paid Medical and Vision premiums for employees, flexible PTO policy, no internal meeting Fridays, Modern Health mental wellness platform, and 11 paid holidays and 2 additional weeks where all Demandbase employees take off (the week of July 4th and the week of Thanksgiving). Plus 401(k), short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, and all those good things.
