Role Overview:

The Market Research Fieldwork Operations & Logistics Executive will play a critical role in supporting the execution of fieldwork projects and maintaining our high standards of operational excellence. You will work closely with suppliers, project managers, and research teams to ensure efficient logistics and facilitate smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Fieldwork Component

  • Co-ordination of fieldwork in Market. 
  • Attending fieldwork tests where required.
  • Supplier relationship management – communications, supplier meetings, rate card negotiations, supporting co-ordination and resolution of resource conflicts, invoice queries, maintenance of internal databases,
  • Scan the regional marketplace for new fieldwork suppliers / new capabilities.

RFQ Support

  • This role will ensure all RFQs where the demander is located outside of China, are converted into Mandarin and fully checked against the English original.
  • The role is not expected to assume a heavy responsibility for covering RFQ processing but during peak times support may be needed so training will be provided

Logistics component

  • Product Sourcing: Online, wholesale and in-store.  Co-ordinate deliveries to specified locations, or working with suppliers to source product as applicable.
  • Check in goods, maintain accurate records, maintain product/shipment quality
  • Manage local 3rd parties (couriers)
  • Liaison with local & regional authorities regarding permits etc
  • Ordering consumables (boxes, tape etc)
  • Preparation of products for collection by couriers, packing, labelling etc
  • Selection and supervision of partners to support debranding / relabelling etc]

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fieldwork operations or logistics management, preferably within a market research environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers effectively.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being proactive and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, for reporting and data management.
  • Comfortable with Travel in and around Asia
