The market analyst is responsible for developing a deep understanding of memory market conditions to guide decision-making & strategy across Solidigm’s product portfolio, customer engagements, financial planning and demand forecasting.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Closely working with 3rd party industry analysts to forecast NAND industry TAM/SAM/SOM
- Delivery of To-be Plan (Long Range) Forecast
- Reporting MSS actuals and forecasts via regular market updates to executive team
- Developing medium and long-term business plans; such as revenue, roadmap, product transitions and establishing capital investment strategies with assessed risks and possible issues
- Managing and aligning priorities from multiple stakeholders/executives
- Regular report outs to executives
- Able to provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the following:
- Experience in business operations, market analysis or forecasting
- Broad business + strategic acumen with experience in developing market models and analyzing drivers and trends
- Building consensus and influencing strategy with data-driven analysis
- Excel and MSFT Office
- Must demonstrate strong public speaking skills and executive presence
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, value data-driven decision making, and influence a broad range of stakeholders
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; collaborative skills to work cross-teams
- Comfort with risk-taking and disruptive approaches to drive success
- Results orientated person, skilled in building relationships with a broad range of roles
- Can-do spirit / attitude
For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $112,760 - $169,240. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
