Overview of the role
Euromonitor International is recruiting for a Market Analyst in Sydney. The successful candidate will work with Sydney research team, the Multi-vertical regional (APAC) and global teams, global heads of industries and the Head of the Multi-vertical Vertical in the research and commercial development of the industries within the Vertical.
Multi-vertical covers verticals such as Food & Nutrition, Drinks & Tobacco, Beauty & Fashion, Consumer Services & Payments, Home Appliances, Electronics and Technology.
You will have an opportunity to study and build expertise in the industries that range from the Multi-vertical as well as the ecosystem of the industries including regulation, government policy. As you continue to build your expertise in various areas of Multi-vertical research, you will have an opportunity to select your areas of industry expertise, project or people management and work with respective heads of industries and wider Multi-vertical regional and global teams to further research agenda, excel in Passport analytics tools such as Industry Forecast Model, strengthen client relationship, and provide country/regional/global strategic analysis through Passport content and PR work.

Brief scope of work
Market Research: Develop insights into research objectives by collaborating with trade associations, prominent companies, and internal Euromonitor associates. Leverage inhouse resources and external publisher data to gain a comprehensive understanding of the market landscape and reviewed companies.
Data Analytics: Validate market data, including integrity of company and brand information and scrutinizing data proactively. Synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear takeaways and actionable insights. Write company/industry strategic reports and/or management summaries based on data-driven findings.
Market Consulting: Provide market consulting based on client’s objectives, including guidance on go-to-market and market entry strategies, pricing tactics, new product development, channel optimization, and thorough competitor analysis. Identify and highlight market opportunities for business expansion.
Client Engagement: Understand business challenges through regular client engagement to build trust and long-term relationships through insights-driven conversations, from informal phone calls to formal presentations. Respond to client queries.
Project Execution: Ensure project execution excellence by reviewing generated materials, validating data and analysis, and aligning them with client objectives. Foster collaboration with Euromonitor International's internal teams to access expertise and share insights, commission research projects for the New Zealand market.
Marketing Campaigns and Coordination: Ensure consistent messaging and branding across various types of written content, including power point presentations, articles, and social media posts.
Social Media Management: Implement social media strategies on LinkedIn and Twitter to raise brand awareness based on research findings.
Event Participation and Promotion: Attend industry events, speak at conferences, and respond to press queries to promote the company. Collaborate with the Communications team to align marketing and communication strategies in the Sydney office.
Collateral Development: Assist in the creation of content for social media posts and other promotional materials showcasing latest reports, insights and Euromonitor International’s attendance and participation in events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Research, and Regional colleagues to align research findings with marketing strategies. Provide proactive structured client engagement to assigned key accounts, ensuring a seamless integration of research and marketing efforts.
Requirements
This position is for Sydney based employees with full working rights, preferably AU PR/AU Citizen/NZ Resident or Citizen. Career Level 2, Salary range AUD 70K to 75K (Salary will commensurate according to experience).
