This position is based in the United States. Candidates must be willing to relocate.
The Manufacturing Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations and is primarily responsible for training production team members and troubleshooting/problem-solving production equipment and processes.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Manufacturing team.
Lead department training activities and conduct training verification.
Serve as a back-up Operator or Manufacturing Supervisor as needed.
Conduct regular quality checks to maintain product standards.
Review all completed batch records for accuracy and completeness before submission for Quality review.
Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements.
Support inventory management through cycle counting, production record management, and inventory control.
Assist with document control in the company’s document management system, maintaining procedures, forms, and process updates.
Participate in departmental meetings and safety programs to ensure any changes are communicated and followed by the team.
Provide coaching and follow-up to improve team performance regarding safety, quality, and productivity.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Warehouse, R&D, and the Head of Manufacturing.
Support departmental objectives through performance management of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and people.
Adhere to all good manufacturing practices (GMP), including sanitary and safety requirements.
Complete other duties as assigned by management.
