Requirements
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and backend applications.
- Manage repository systems to track test artifacts and ensure proper versioning.
- Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools, validating request-response flows.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend functionality.
- Utilize Docker to test containerized applications and ensure proper environment configurations.
- Perform command-line operations in Node.js environments, including debugging and script execution.
- Handle SSL certificate management for testing environments.
- Run and troubleshoot applications in local and remote environments.
- Set up and manage port forwarding and modify host files to support testing activities.
- Identify, document, and track bugs effectively, collaborating with developers for resolution.
- Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to improve testing processes and deployment workflows.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer in a technical environment.
- Hands-on experience with repository management tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar).
- Proficiency in Docker for containerized application testing.
- Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Experience in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
- Command-line proficiency in Node.js, including package management and debugging.
- Experience in managing SSL certificates for testing purposes.
- Familiarity with running applications, port forwarding, and managing host files.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Understanding of AWS services (even without direct access) to grasp infrastructure and service connectivity.
