Job Overview:
As a Manual QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications and hardware devices. You will work closely with our development and engineering teams to identify, document, and track defects while ensuring our products meet the highest standards before release.
Key Responsabilities:
- Test Planning and Execution:
- Execute manual test cases for software and hardware applications based on established test plans.

Collaborate with QA team members to develop and refine test cases and testing strategies.

Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing to ensure all components work as intended.
- Defect Identification and Reporting:
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Reproduce reported issues and work with the development team to resolve them.

Conduct retests to verify defect fixes and ensure issues are resolved

Hardware Testing:
- Perform manual testing of hardware components to validate functionality, durability, and performance.

Ensure hardware and software integration works seamlessly across different platforms and environments.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and other QA team members to understand product requirements and specifications.

Communicate test results, status updates, and potential risks to the QA Lead or Manager.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement discussions.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test results.

Ensure all testing activities are thoroughly documented for future reference and audits.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of software and hardware testing principles.

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document issues clearly and concisely.

Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking systems (experience with JIRA is a plus).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Any relevant QA, software testing or IT coursework or certifications are advantageous.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
