We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join United Tech, where you'll have the chance to work on a product with a massive, million+ user base. In this role, you’ll engage with a variety of advanced technologies, from relational and document-oriented databases to diverse REST API clients and proxy tools that enhance testing depth. You'll also have the unique opportunity to conduct analytics testing, driving insights that shape our product, and work on testing complex marketing logics, including A/B testing methods to refine user experiences.

In this role, you will
- Conduct manual testing of backend systems using API tools and databases
- Perform smoke, sanity, and regression testing on iOS mobile applications
- Create test documentation, including test cases, bug reports, and checklists
- Participate in SCRUM processes and work within SDLC
- Execute A/B testing to evaluate and optimize features
- Work with internal tools, including the admin panel
- Investigate bugs, providing in-depth analysis and follow-up
- Build and analyze reports to support data-driven improvements
- Enhance testing speed and quality through continuous improvement
- Conduct functional testing on new features
It’s all about you
- Minimum of 2 years in mobile testing, with experience on both iOS and Android (required)
- Familiarity with testing both mobile and web applications
- Proficiency in tools like Postman and Swagger for API testing
- Experience using proxy debugging tools such as Proxyman, Charles, or Fiddler
- Competence with MongoDB Compass for querying, deleting, and editing data
- Strong ability to quickly understand new ideas and concepts
- Experience using Jira and Confluence effectively
- Understanding of SCRUM processes and methodologies
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in English
- Ability to analyze and interpret requirements accurately
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines without compromising quality
