ABOUT THE ROLE
At this time, we are looking for a talented full-time Manual QA Engineer with strong technical knowledge to help us bring our unique data products to the market. What you will get an opportunity to work on will challenge the status quo and change our industry forever.
Core Technical Skills needed
- At least 3 full years of experience in Software Testing.

Manual Testing Expertise: Proficiency in manual testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, ensuring thorough test coverage.

Proficiency in English: both written and spoken / B2 or C1.

Understanding of Product Lifecycle and QA Processes: In-depth knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and QA processes, from requirements gathering to product release.

Bug Triage and Assignment: Ability to triage, prioritize, and assign bugs effectively to ensure timely resolution, including handling urgent hotfixes.

Coordination of Testing Efforts: Experience coordinating testing activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment of resources and efforts to meet deadlines.

Debugging Failures: Strong skills in analyzing and debugging system and software failures, ensuring quick identification of root causes.

Product Stability and Timely Releases: Proven track record of releasing stable products within defined time frames by collaborating with cross-functional teams and efficiently managing testing cycles.

Test Reporting: Ability to create detailed, informative test reports that highlight critical issues, coverage, and progress to stakeholders.

Bug Tracking & Test Management: Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., AllureTestOps, TestRail, Zephyr).

Chrome DevTools: Familiarity with using Chrome Developer Tools for debugging, network analysis, and front-end testing.

Backend Testing: Strong knowledge of back-end systems, with experience in testing APIs, databases, and microservices architecture.

API Testing: Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger) and a deep understanding of RESTful services, HTTP protocols, and client-server architectures.

SQL Scripting: Solid experience writing complex SQL queries for data manipulations.

Terminal/Command Line Skills: Basic proficiency with Linux/Microsoft terminal commands for log file analysis and server interaction.

Version Control Systems: Familiarity with ‘Git’ version control system

Microservices Architecture: Understanding of microservices design, deployment, and testing strategies in a distributed environment.

Agile Methodology: Proven experience working in Agile teams, participating in sprints, and managing tasks in JIRA.
Core Technical Skills preferred

Previous Experience with Data Products: Preferred experience working with data-centricproducts, where data quality, accessibility, and integration are critical aspects of the product.

BDD Methodology: Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD), particularly in writing Gherkin scenarios for acceptance criteria and test automation.

Advanced Debugging Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across environments and systems, using DevTools, logs, and monitoring solutions.
