Managing Director - Life Science Consultancy - Sweden, Nordics, Remote

Our client is a leading global life science consultancy, as their new Managing Director for the Sweden and Nordics region. As the Managing Director, you will have the opportunity to lead and grow their consulting business in the healthcare and life sciences sector across the region. With a remote work arrangement, you can work from anywhere within Sweden or the Nordics. We are seeking a visionary leader who can drive strategic initiatives, build strong client relationships, and deliver exceptional consulting services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Lead and inspire a team of consultants and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our client base and deepening relationships with existing clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic guidance.
  • Oversee the delivery of consulting projects, ensuring high-quality work and client satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to anticipate client needs and identify new service offerings.
  • Represent their client at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance their brand presence and network with key stakeholders.
  • Manage the financial performance of the Sweden and Nordics region, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Collaborate with other Managing Directors and executive leadership to drive overall company growth and success.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Managing Director or in a similar executive leadership role within a life science consultancy or related industry.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the healthcare and life sciences sector in Sweden and the Nordics.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth, expanding client base, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences, business administration, or healthcare management.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Experience in managing complex consulting projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and manage profitability.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish; additional Nordic language skills are a plus.
