Managing Director Doka France (m/f/d)

As Managing Director of Doka France, you will be responsible for the implementation of the turnaround plan and the strategic development of the French Doka country organization with full P&L responsibility. You will develop and coach your direct reports, ensuring that they are given the resources and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with Doka France.

In your role, you will also assess additional revenue opportunities and drive customer engagement that strengthens the company's position in the market while being committed to further developing a high-performing team and organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • You will ensure growth and profitability of the whole business operation of Doka France
  • You will be responsible for the balance sheet, budget, and KPI’s in the country and reporting directly to the Regional Director
  • You coordinate and support lobbying and professional key account management to expand the Company’s Project Pipeline
  • You will manage and coordinate all activities between the departments and optimize, develop and implement organizational processes and structures from an operative as well as strategic point of view
  • You will initiate the compilation and realization of the sales strategy incl. KAM, pricing, management of claims, inventory management and health/safety regulations
  • You will act as a role model and to be the highest promoter of Doka strategy, principles of management and code of conduct and to be responsible for compliance
  • Outstanding General Management (full P&L) experience in project and process management
  • Local French Business knowledge paired with strong Business Acumen –Proven track record with an international multinational company in Construction Supply or System Formwork
  • Solid experience, network & access as well as in-depth understanding of the local French construction market (ideally formwork knowledge)
  • Experience with restructuring businesses highly welcome
  • Strong Commercial/Sales background and affinity
  • International Management experience would be a major benefit
  • Very high engagement level and “hands-on” approach

  • Technical/Commercial diploma, MBA preferred
  • Excellent language communication, negotiation and presentation skills in French AND English
