About the Role

As a Manager - Workplace, you will ensure to provide world class employee experience within the organization. Your primary focus will be to  ensure to promote a positive and supportive workplace culture. You will work closely with other members of the leadership team to create a cohesive and effective program that supports the growth of well being of the teams.

As the Manager - Workplace for Postman, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's 2 offices in Bangalore and Noida, which includes managing food vendors, security team, housekeeping, drivers, employee travel, and expenses. You will be working with approximately 300 employees to ensure their receive the best employee experience

A successful candidate for this role will have the ability and initiative to understand the business needs, analyze issues and influence solutions/outcomes. We are also looking for a team player who not only leverages his/her own training goals but is able to work closely with the rest of the organization team by accommodating product/feature release dates effectively re-prioritizing and deploying training programs based on Postman needs. This individual must be self-driven and have the capability and confidence to interface effectively with multiple stakeholders, both face to face (or virtually) and across geographies.

What You’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement programs and initiatives that support employee engagement tailor made to solve the problems the specific teams are trying to solve
  • Manage food vendors to ensure that high quality  meals are provided to employees as per schedule and coordinate with the vendors to ensure their bills are paid on time
  • Foster a positive and supportive workplace culture by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a focus on employee well-being.
  • Monitor employee engagement levels, and proactively identify and address issues that may impact employee satisfaction and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, managers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that their needs and concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and incorporate this knowledge into the development of new programs and initiatives.
  • Oversee the security team, ensuring that the offices are secure, and that security protocols are followed
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors, employees, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct clerical duties, including filing, full office management, responding to emails, preparing documents and  and internal information and platforms
  • Own and manage conference room coordination 
  • Coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure that the offices are clean and well-maintained and the team is equipped to deliver the best employee experience
  • Manage the drivers, ensuring that employee transportation needs are met
  • Coordinate employee travel, including booking flights and hotels, and ensuring that employees have all necessary travel documents
  • Process employee reimbursement and expenses in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain accurate records of all expenses and ensure that they are in compliance with company policies
  • Assist in the planning and execution of company events and meetings
  • Work with outside vendors to coordinate upkeep, and maintenance of the Fulfillment Center
  • Run work-related errands as needed
  • Think and plan ahead, delegate responsibilities appropriately and manage time effectively

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office software applications and manage e-mail communication
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Experience in office administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment (Preferred Qualification)
