Essential Functions
Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications using a microservice architecture, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
Manage, mentor and motivate a high-performing development team, setting clear priorities to achieve short-term goals and OKRs.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines
Ensure adherence to industry security standards and best practices. Oversee regular security audits, vulnerability management, and integrate security measures throughout the software development lifecycle
Lead the team in providing support for production defects, ensuring timely diagnosis and resolution. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement fixes and prevent recurrence.
Ensure high test coverage with unit tests and regularly review test results and coverage metrics
Provide expert technical guidance to team members on programming languages, frameworks, architecture design and tools. Assist in solving complex technical problems and making critical technical decisions.
Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and support professional growth and development.
Build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders to command their attention and foster collaboration.
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders effectively.
Work closely with Security, Engineering, Testing and Support team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
Propose innovations and improvements to current processes, procedures, and tools to boost team productivity and benefit the organization.
Apply creative thinking to drive automation goals and align with the technology strategy.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
