As a Manager, Visa University Strategy & Operations (S&O), you will be responsible for assisting with business operations of a revenue generating, client-learning business. You will report to the Director, VU Strategy & Operations. You will work closely with the global VU team, global and regional finance partners and our counterparts in VCA S&O.

As a member of the Strategy & Operations team within Visa University, this individual will be focused on supporting the P&L management, reporting infrastructure and operational efficiency initiatives.

  • Assist in managing the annual planning process with assessments of previous investments and understanding of future opportunities and goals of the team.
  • Partner with regional and global finance teams to monitor spend to ensure we are within plan as well as deliver early warning of over/under spend to the Leadership Team with potential corrective action suggestions.
  • Define requirements and guide the development of dashboards to be used internally by the VU team to manage and assess the training programs, sales and delivery of VU products.
  • Ensure alignment with the larger VCA S&O team on reporting revenue both actual and forecasted.
  • Partner with the team to create and implement processes to enhance cross-team coordination and operational efficiency. 
  • Develop strong relationships and act as a  point of contact across stakeholders (e.g., Global VU team, Finance, VCA S&O team, and other business partners)

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA,  JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Financial management experience, managing process in support of a revenue generating organization.
  • Process optimization experience. Ability to review processes and suggest improvements to improve our operational efficiency.
  • Excellent written and oral communication ability. Capacity to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proficient in PowerBI and able to develop dashboards in support of key department metrics.
  • Experience in data-driven initiatives to enhance business performance and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with a keen ability to understand data required to deliver key metrics and business insights.
  • Self-starter with strong project and time management skills, able to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong team player, self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while coordinating cross-functional activities and obtaining buy-in.
  • High level of professionalism and leadership skills to build business relationships, trust, and respect with partners.
  • Commitment to seeking new perspectives and feedback, taking an inclusive approach and engaging diverse points of view.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,300.00 to 191,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
