What is Manager Strategic Projects?

The Manager of Strategic Projects plays a pivotal role in driving the execution of key initiatives emerging from strategic planning exercises. This position reports directly to the Head of Strategy and is responsible for leading projects ranging from new product launches to mergers and acquisitions. The incumbent will contribute to enhancing the strategy planning process, supporting in identifying short-term and long-term opportunities, and ensuring their successful realization.

What does Manager Strategic Projects do?

• Lead cross-functional teams in executing strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and cross-functional teams, to drive consensus and facilitate project execution
• Proactively work with risk management teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with strategic initiatives
• Demonstrate proficiency in telecommunications technology and its applications, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams and alignment of strategic initiatives with technological capabilities.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, performance metrics, and key milestones to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to the enhancement of strategic planning processes by providing insights and recommendations based on market analysis, competitive intelligence, and industry trends.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Strategic Projects ?

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 5 Years Proven experience proven experience in strategic project management, preferably within the telecommunications or technology sector
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, business plan development, and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
• Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.
