Manager Strategic Finance - LinkedIn Marketing Solutions

This role will be based in Mountain View, San Francisco or New York.

We are looking for a manager for our strategic finance team who will be a key strategic business partner for our advertising product line (LinkedIn Marketing Solutions). As a member of this team, you will partner with cross functional teams and be the point person for maintaining, analyzing, and communicating relevant business and performance metrics for your product lines, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances, identifying and quantifying growth opportunities, and providing strategic analyses and recommendations to our key stakeholders.

You will be directly involved in the coordination of the various product strategy plans and planning cycles, as well as overall business performance management. Strict attention to detail, an ability to set and meet tight deadlines, a curious mindset, and go-getter attitude are important for your success.  

​​Responsibilities: 

Strategic Thinking 

  • Begins to identify new opportunities for growth within a limited scope and leads strategy development with business partners, and validates and executes complex pressure testing of growth opportunities. 
  • Maintains collaborative relationships with other teams and proactively seeks input and feedback to develop an understanding of their priorities and constraints.

Stakeholder Influence 

  • Communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) and implications of internal/external factors to management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive action. 
  • Synthesizes problems and communicates point of view to drive alignment and decision-making on issues within the area of responsibility.

Performance Management 

  • Supports performance management by creating, maintaining, and updating complex models and forecasts; develops improvements/alternatives for key metrics and partners with cross-functional teams to close deviations from targets.  
  • Executes ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address highly complex business questions, deriving actionable insights from results.

Execution & Organization 

  • Independently partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics-oriented perspective. 
  • Independently drives the development of large workstreams, projects, or operational processes. 

Culture & Values 

  • Works as part of a team that supports the culture and values of the organization, including people development and diversity, inclusion, and belonging. 
  • Provides actionable, concrete project-oriented feedback (after a meeting, end-of-project review) to colleagues and/or partners. 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in finance, investment banking, consulting, strategy and operations or related experience in driving monetization growth 
  • OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills, including experience in interacting with large datasets
  • 3+ years of experience in the technology industry
  • Adaptable and able to react quickly to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to seek information independently and solve conceptual problems with directional guidance
  • Proven ability to coordinate and execute projects independently, effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and autonomously perform within tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate a potential in thought leadership and manage relationships with senior stakeholders

The pay range for this role is $123,000-$199,000.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
