Manager, Software Engineering

• Manage and provide technical leadership to a group of geographically distributed software development engineers and software quality engineers and testers.
• Partner closely with product management, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure software development deliverables meet functional requirements, and software development projects are completed on time, and with the highest quality.
• Work closely with senior software engineers and software architects to leverage and improve the core capabilities of the product.
• Perform functional decomposition of software architecture requirements and processes into reusable shared services.
• Identify and implement software engineering best practices including software quality assurance and testing.
• Mentor and coach junior software engineers.

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: Five years of progressive experience in web software development.

• Work experience to include: 
• Leading a team of geographically dispersed software and quality engineers through at least 3 releases of projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies, including coordinating priorities between schedule, quality, and cost concerns.  
• Utilizing software engineering best practices for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 
• Utilizing one of the following programming languages: Java, C#, C++, JavaScript or React. 
• Utilizing data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming techniques. 
• Using relational databases, including SQL and Mongo DB. 
• Collaborating with other functional areas, including product, PMO, customer satisfaction, security, and infrastructure teams. 

• 40 hrs./wk.
• Salary: $193,357/yr.
