The Role: 
The Frontend/UI Engineering Manager role at Zeta is a dynamic and influential position that combines technical expertise with leadership and strategic thinking. As the leader of our front-end development team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our digital products. Your days will involve guiding and inspiring a talented group of front-end developers and UI engineers, fostering a collaborative team culture, and providing technical direction.
You'll be at the forefront of project management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative designs to life. As a hands-on leader, you'll contribute to code reviews, maintain coding standards, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. The role demands a keen eye for detail, strategic decision-making, and navigating a fast-paced, agile environment. You will also have the opportunity to stay abreast of industry trends, implement best practices, and contribute to the overall technical roadmap. Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of front-end developers and UI engineers. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture. Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines. Drive the execution of frontend/UI development projects from concept to delivery.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay current with industry trends and emerging front-end technologies. Provide technical leadership and contribute to the development of best practices. Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards are maintained.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project status.
  • Quality Assurance:Implement and maintain effective testing processes to ensure high-quality frontend/UI deliverables.Monitor and optimize application performance, security, and scalability

Skills

  • Love programming and you are good at designing the user experience across platforms
  • Aware of various product design, functional design and usability factors in designing
  • Proven experience managing and leading frontend/UI development teams.
  • Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
  • Handle UI integration with REST-APIs 
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to address and resolve issues related to cross-browser compatibility and ensure a consistent user experience across different browsers.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Overall of 10+ years of experience
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in computer science, information technology or a related field.
