Excited about driving 10X to 100X growth? If yes, then you could be the next Manager - Web of our team. We are the Acquisition & Activation team of Meesho’ Growth unit. We strive to attract and retain new users to Meesho. We pay special attention to our downloads and activations (placing 1st order) on Meesho, because these indicate the success of our solutions.
We also have a key role in maintaining Meesho’s high position on the Google India Play Store. We are a group of specialists and generalists who work collaboratively with Product, Analytics, Creative and Tech teams. Our shared objective is to drive structured growth for Meesho through marketing channels and converting users through on-app and off-app measures (installs to placing 1st order).
About The Role
As Manager, you’ll work in the acquisition charter (driving new users acquisition for Meesho), and handle the Meesho website. This will involve identifying and strategising the next set of growth levers to make the web channel 10X. You’ll also lead precision projects across the pod to achieve efficiency uplift in performance campaigns, figure out the right strategy to optimize keyword ranking for Meesho. In addition, you’ll also get to manage the performance of the charter through strict oversight of data (what can/ has gone wrong, correct them, and build an end-to-end perspective).
What you will do
- SEO strategy: Identify and strategise the business and product levers to increase organic ranking of keywords for Meesho in Google Search
- Experiment and scale performance campaigns to increase traffic on website
- Drive Initiatives: Liaise with internal team members and also with Product, Analytics, Creatives, etc., to drive solutions, scale-up, and achieve efficiency improvement in performance campaigns
- Performance Management: Identify issues which impact website traffic and incoming user quality and RCA
- Strong understanding of data - we are a data driven organization, and measure outcomes closely through internal metrics. You will be working closely with the Analytics team across problem discovery, solutioning, execution and measurement.
What you will need
- Bachelor's / MBA degree in any discipline from premium college – MBA is preferable.
- 3-4 years of experience in SEO & SEM at a high-growth startup.
- Structured problem-solving with good communication skills.
- Data-driven with good Excel skills.
- Proven ability to take up high ownership.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (within the company).
- Enthusiastic about learning new skills and solving challenging problems.
