About the role
As a member of our People Operations team, you will be responsible for shaping our employee experience and driving people & culture initiatives to foster an inclusive, people-first company culture.

What You will do
Lead the charge in strategizing and executing a seamless employee journey, manage the full end-to-end payroll and compliance operations ensuring timely & accurate salary disbursements to all employees
Manage external payroll vendors ensuring the predefined service level is met. Ensure the processing of all statutory payments & employee benefits on a timely basis and filing of returns as per the local compliances & government instructions
Participate & support payroll-related audit matters and HR projects whenever required.
Strong understanding of Indian employment laws, labor laws, local payroll practices, and statutory payroll regulations (tax, PF, salary structure etc)
Proactively analyzing the gaps in the compliance and ensuring that these gaps are bridged to the fullest in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Facilitate Audit related queries and follow-up on observations and closure
Manage slice’s HCM platform, ensuring data accuracy reaches superhero levels. It's your playground, and precision is your superpower.

Craft and own captivating SOPs, Policies, and FAQs, weaving them into the fabric of our organization to create a culture that's as engaging as it is efficient
Manage and administer employee benefits and perks, ensuring our team members feel the love and appreciation they deserve
Manage all aspects of employee lifecycle administration and operations including operations supporting recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and compliance with local labor laws.
Address & resolve grievances within predefined timelines and respond professionally & accurately to inquiries related to any processes in the employee lifecycle
Spearhead negotiations with internal and external stakeholders, our journey towards automation and make processes smoother and more efficient
Be a mentor and guide to the team members as we collectively navigate the realm of people management with finesse and empathy. From coaching to conflict resolution, your leadership will empower our team members to shine brighter than ever before
What you will need
Bachelors or Masters degree with specialization in HR field
6 to 10 years of experience as an HR professional, preferably in the Fintech or Banking industry
Exceptional organizational and planning skills. We would love to have a Monica or an Amy.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong operational hands on experience, problem solving, and analytical skills
Operations mindset & knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practices
Ability to manage performance, coach and provide direction in a team environment
Ownership and accountability for problem solving during the time of need
