The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Manager, Sales Support to join our AM Wealth Distribution team.

Your role will be required to regularly perform essential duties on behalf of the company from your assigned Aviso office. Your role is considered medium flexibility, requiring you to work onsite 1-3 days per week at our office at 151 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON.

Reporting to the Director of Inside Sales the Manager, Sales Support is responsible for leading and overseeing the Sales Associate team, ensuring smooth operation and exceptional support for the sales processes. This role requires a combination of strong leadership, excellent communication, and outstanding organizational skills to optimize team performance and foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing best practices and procedures, providing ongoing coaching and professional development for Sales Associate team, and coordinating sales events across the country.

What your day looks like:

  • Day to day supervision of the Sales Associate team ensuring efficient and high-quality work output
  • Collaborate with the Director, Inside Sales, in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new sales support talent
  • Implement best practices and procedures for the Sales Associate team to optimize processes and enhance overall team performance
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development for the Sales Associate team to ensure that they meet expectations and targets
  • Coordinate and manage sales events across the country, including logistics, promotions, and post-event analysis
  • Oversee sales and activity reporting, regularly presenting updates to senior management and identifying areas for improvement
  • Establish strong relationship with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and service center, to ensure seamless collaboration and support for the sales process

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • Post-Secondary education in Business Administration, or related field
  • A minimum 5-7 years of experience in the financial industry, with a proven track record of success in sales support or a related role
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of sales support processed, strategies, and best practices, contributing to the development and implementation of efficient systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks and documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to actively engage with individuals and groups at all levels
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with expertise in sales data analysis and reporting
  • A team player with the ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and adaptability in various situations
  • Outstanding customer service orientation, employing problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively, managing multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that sales support activities adhere to relevant guidelines and standards
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $87,000 - $111,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
