ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- With a team of 2-3 people, managing the forecasting process for Revenue, Opex, and Headcount across the Retail segment
- Reviewing business cases for New Products / Platforms
- Analyzing data to help provide insights to the business on demand/pricing, and optimizations of the business.
- Reconciling programs created within the tool we utilize (Model N), with that of the customer.
- Suggesting process improvements so as to mitigate both accounting and operational risks.
- Utilizing an understanding the Retail business programs and promotions, for both the Flash and HDD BUs, to help ensure accurate programs calculations and provide key commentary on Retail business trends.
- Ensuring that the programs expected to be enabled are forecasted for accordingly, and tracked on a 'real time' basis.
- Doing deep dives into programs related issues where required, to understand and eventually solve issues.
- Have a vision for process improvements and change, partnering with other analysts and IT to automate/semi-automate solutions
In this role, you will work cross functionally with the Retail Segment, Sales, Demand Planning, Pricing, Claims, IT, and BU Analytics leads.
- The soft skill set to work cross functionally, with the Retail Segment, Sales, Demand Planning, Pricing, Claims Department, IT, BU Finance leads, and Customer contacts
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with a desire to drive change/improvements.
- Proficiency in Excel, with previous experience utilizing reporting and data analytics tools
- Attention to detail, along with the ability to 'self check'
- Ability to drive and influence change
- 9+ years of work experience in Data Analytics / Accounting / Business Finance / Pricing
- The ability to multi task, and work in a fast paced, changing environment
- Preference of previous management experience
