Reporting directly to the Regional Senior Risk Manager, this role will see you involved in a broad range of risk assessment, advisory, assurance and compliance reviews, and consulting activities across operational change and transformation programs in SEEK's markets, specifically in Asia. Any experience acquired in tech start-ups, financial services, multinational and/or an industry with sophisticated operational risk issues would be considered ideal.
You will also work closely with your peers in ANZ to support the interaction with relevant partner groups across the organisation.
Key Objective of the Role
- Drive and promote awareness of the SEEK Risk Management Framework and risk assessment process to provide ongoing uplift in risk culture and governance across SEEK operating markets.
- Identify and handle operational risks through risk workshops and drive the documentation and development of controls related to key risks, policies and guidelines. This will help to ensure reliability of financial processes, cybersecurity risk mitigation, data privacy and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Identify weak processes and controls through assurance activities. Use insights from the risk and assurance activities to design, document, and test the efficiency of controls through periodic assessments.
- Conduct or support risk assessments across all business partners for new processes, new products, key programs, and/or initiatives, being the advisor for identified risks, and support remediation efforts and/or policy and process changes.
- Facilitate the outcomes of audit findings and perform root cause analysis to avoid recurrence. Educate SEEK collaborators to elevate compliance culture through structured training, campaigns, and other relevant advocacy initiatives.
- Provide support to APAC Security and APAC Technology team in managing cybersecurity and technology risks, where necessary.
- Lead or support ad-hoc reviews (compliance, assurance, fraud investigations)
- Stay on top of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance risk control.
- Liaise with SEEK’s internal and external auditors, to coordinate and provide control assurance services.
- Review reports and other materials produced as part of assurance activities in closing assurance findings in a timely manner with relevant action owners.
- At least 10 years working experience and a strong knowledge or understanding in a variety of functional areas such as reporting, governance, risk, internal audit, and assurance. Expertise in AI/Technology and cybersecurity risk would be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or professional qualification in auditing and/or risk management is preferred.
- Strong collaborator engagement skills including facing senior management and executive level collaborators
- Knowledge and experience in BI/data analyst in reporting tools like Confluence, JIRA, Power BI, Workday Financials, Anaplan, Oracle
- Comfort in taking ownership and being held accountable for delivering results!
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Open to travel within Seek's Asia markets.

- Proficiency in relevant to South-East Asian languages based on SEEK’s operating locations would be highly regarded.
