Manager, Recruiting Coordination

Lyft is currently looking to add an experienced Manager of Recruiting Coordination to lead Lyft’s team of dedicated Recruiting Coordinators. As the leader of this amazing team, you'll prioritize your customer’s experience, ensuring that every interaction reflects our values and exceeds expectations. In partnership with the existing RC Manager, you will focus on optimizing and automating coordination processes to ensure we’re working smarter and not harder.

The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with technical recruiting, adept at identifying opportunities for process enhancement, and implementing innovative solutions to drive operational efficiencies. You’ll crush this role if you’re good at juggling multiple priorities, delivering results with established metrics and service level agreements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Recruiting Coordinators responsible for supporting recruiters and hiring managers with recruiting processes which includes; scheduling interviews, organizing candidate travel arrangements, reserving conference rooms, working with administrative assistants, and hosting candidates when they come onsite
  • Partner with recruiters and recruiting managers to identify operational inefficiencies and unblock as needed 
  • Focus on demand forecasting to ensure the RC team is appropriately staffed to support needs from the recruiting team
  • Continuous review of existing processes and practices with a focus on the end customer, identifying areas for improvement and optimization to enhance their experience 
  • Manage workflow and assignments within the recruiting coordinator team to provide proper support to multiple functional and divisional recruiting teams
  • Ensure effective use of recruiting tools to drive consistency in the process
  • Act as the recruiting coordination process subject matter expert to ensure best practices and effective methods are in place for all administrative tasks related to the recruiting process

Experience:

  • 3+ years working in a recruiting or people team function
  • Minimum of 1 year of people management experience required 
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical acumen, including a predilection for data-driven decision-making, and familiarity with reporting and analytics tools to assess RC team performance metrics
  • Able to manage multiple priorities concurrently, professionally, efficiently and follow-through on multiple high-priority initiatives at one time
  • Prior experience in a coordination role strongly preferred

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

The expected range of pay for this position in the Toronto area is CAD $104,550 - CAD $123,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
