At Dangote Cement Plc, we are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as the Manager of Quality Assurance and Quality Control. As the Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of our products and processes, as well as implementing quality control measures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate all aspects of production and operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and manage a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of quality goals.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess product quality and adherence to quality control standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to incorporate best practices into quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare and present reports on quality control performance to management and stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain quality-related documentation and records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality Management).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and committed to achieving excellence in quality control.
- Experience with relevant quality management systems and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO) are a plus.
