We are looking for a Manager for our Account Directors in the Public Sector team (Government, Municipalities, Non-Profit, Academic and Healthcare clients).  In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of AD’s who partner with existing and new customers to deliver success using our Talent and Learning solutions. In addition, the Manager will be responsible for transformation and execution of the sales strategy across public clients in Nordics. You will also focus on retaining and growing LinkedIn’s valuable corporate relationships. In the role you will report into Head of the Segment and collaborate with other Managers within the public sector team in EMEA.

 

Responsibilities Include:  

  • Deliver results that achieve and redefine the potential of the public sector business  
  • Build, plan, motivate and communicate an inspiring Nordic strategy aligned with LinkedIn’s global strategy 
  • Lead by example and Inspire customers with solution oriented and value-based conversation  
  • Manage forecast, lead inspiring team meetings, align the team to organizational vision and values and help team with performance management 
  • Embodies and drivers a positive and values-driven team culture that will motivate the core team and others regardless of business results 
  • Foster and further develop our vision for the public sector in the Nordics  
  • Be a change agent and catalyst for transformation by defining a clear why and lead the team during the process to positive outcome 
  • Lead the teams upskilling and reskilling for today and tomorrows needs 
  • Be the trusted partner and subject matter expert on Public Sector Marketplace to core team and the Nordic leadership team; provide them with competitive and industry intelligence to shape product and business strategies  
  • Be an effective coach to team members to help them develop short- and long-term individual and career goals 
  • Have fun while doing the job

 

Basic Requirements:  

  • 7+ years of sales experience  
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience  
  • 3+ years public sector experience 
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English 

  

Preferred Requirements:  

  • Fluency in additional Nordic language 
  • Sales and Sales Management experience preferably in a Technology / Human Capital / Consulting  
  • Experience leading high performing sales teams  
  • Ability to influence decision makers at all levels  
  • Proven leadership skills, self-starter with hands-on approach  
  • Capability in forming enduring relationships across the organization and geographies  
  • Well-connected in their industry with the potential to also do so in the HR community  
  • Integrity-driven, collaborative team player  
  • Must be results driven and detail oriented with a growth mindset
