Manager - Pricing Analytics

This role will report to the VP of Pricing & Packaging, and will be responsible for quantifying our pricing performance and pricing insights. This is a new key position with a highly strategic and cross-functional scope, as well as excellent career growth potential. The ideal candidate has expertise in gathering, processing and combining data from various sources into actionable business intelligence for business leaders across Product Management, Sales, Marketing and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain pricing dashboards and reporting tools to monitor pricing performance metrics and track key performance indicators.

  • Gather, organize and validate data from various source systems, and build advanced analytical models using tools such as Tableau for use by all members of the Pricing & Packaging Team.

  • Collaborate closely with analysts across Finance and Sales Operations to ensure consistent terminology and data standards for discounting, street pricing, revenue expansion and other key analytical areas.

  • Create and publish executive reports that highlight key pricing insights, trends, and recommendations for strategic decision-making.

  • Support pricing strategists in conducting comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing opportunities and market trends across our product portfolio.

  • Interact with product management, sales, and marketing teams to understand product features, customer needs, and competitive positioning, and develop product-specific pricing models.

  • Compose data-driven proposals for new pricing and packaging actions, present to Pricing Committee to gain commitment, and devise implementation and enablement.

  • Monitor performance on Pricing & Packaging OKRs and other key business metrics, perform in-depth analysis to highlight issues and work closely with the VP on corrective actions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience (or 5 years if MBA) in pricing, sales analytics, revenue management, product marketing or related roles, preferably in the software industry.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis and statistical techniques.

  • Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools and software, including Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL, and other relevant analytics and data visualization tools. Proficiency in Python is a plus.

  • Experience in building and deploying complex analytical models to solve business problems.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, curiosity and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
