Amare Global is searching for a Sr. Manager of Supply Chain who will oversee inventory for finished goods and components across various locations in the US and globally. This person will ensure materials are received, stored, and delivered on time by working closely with contract manufacturers. The role involves using MRP systems to keep inventory accurate and coordinating with different teams to meet operational goals. They will also look for ways to cut transportation costs, maintain supply chain software, ensure data accuracy, and adopt new technologies to boost efficiency. Please note that this position is located in Mahwah, NJ and this person will be required to work onsite, Monday-Friday from 9:00am – 6:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for developing and managing inventory strategies for finished goods and components across multiple sites in the US and internationally, while ensuring each location's demands are met effectively.
- Collaborate closely with contract manufacturers to ensure that materials are proactively received, stored, maintained, and supplied to the manufacturing line, supporting the achievement of the master schedule and on-time delivery to customers.
- Promote the “Plan for Every Part” approach by effectively utilizing MRP systems, ensuring inventory accuracy, and executing materials management processes.
- Ensure efficient and correct flow of information between head office, contract manufacturers, warehouse and subsidiaries.
- Collaborate with other functional teams to ensure that various components function together seamlessly to achieve the operational objectives of the solution, focusing on integration, quality, and performance of the deliverables.
- Tracks and evaluates domestic and/or international transportation methods to identify opportunities for reducing costs for customers and minimizing the company's overall expenses.
- Oversee and enhance the use of supply chain management software and systems (such as ERP, WMS, and TMS).
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of data within the supply chain systems.
- Incorporate new technologies and tools to improve supply chain efficiency.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in global supply chain management or related fields, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies.
- Experience with the procurement key modes Ocean, Air (non-parcel), Truckload and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) both internationally and domestically.
- Experience in the health, wellness, or consumer goods industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Strong knowledge of MRP and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
