About the Job

As the Manager of Strategic Demand Partnerships, your primary mission is to nurture and grow our relationships with key Demand Side Platforms. You will act as the daily point of contact for these partners, understanding their business needs, identifying product opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to maximize partnership potential. Through insightful data analysis, you will provide actionable recommendations to drive success. In this role, you will work closely with our Agency Sales, Supply Account Management, Product, Customer Support, and Data Science teams to bring your initiatives to life.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for our strategic demand partners, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proactively identify and research potential new demand partners, using industry resources, market analysis, and competitive intelligence to develop effective outreach strategies.
  • Promote newly onboarded publisher inventory to demand partners, driving increased publisher revenue.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report key performance metrics and business trends to both partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Leverage data from our internal reporting tools to uncover business trends and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Evaluate​​ partner performance and provide data driven recommendations on improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the programmatic advertising landscape, including industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver data-driven, strategic Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

The successful candidate will have: 

  • 8+ years of quota carrying Account Management experience, with a minimum of 5 years managing strategic DSP accounts
  • Familiarity with current ad tech landscape and Sovrn’s place and value proposition in the market
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Effective time management skills with an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and provide superior customer service
  • Ability to read, organize, and analyze large data sets in order to identify trends and develop actionable recommendations
  • A passion for problem-solving and turning challenges into opportunities for business growth
  • An interest in and willingness to learn the technical underpinnings of how to build, maintain, and grow a thriving digital business
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to identify problems and explore potential solutions that can be presented clearly to your client
  • Strong work ethic with a self-motivated attitude and ability to be resourceful to get the job done
  • Willing and able to travel 25-30% (to meet clients, local events, networking)

Bonus Points:

  • Internet savvy and strong proficiency in office productivity tools (Gmail, Google Apps, Confluence/JIRA, Salesforce CRM)
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets (Vlookups, Formulas, pivot tables, etc)

This position reports to: Senior Director, Demand

Location: New York City, New York - Candidates must currently live in, or are willing to commute to the New York office. Sovrn’s hybrid schedule includes onsite in our New York City office. #LI-Hybrid
