Palo Alto Networks’s Prisma Cloud team is looking for a seasoned and accomplished engineering leader with experience in Cloud Native technologies. You will be leading and scaling a world-class software engineering team, working to build Prisma Cloud Compute, which is a best in class product for container, host and serverless security.
You will be expected to lead and participate in all phases of the product development cycle, to ensure that the product is functioning well and meets its SLAs.
Your Impact
Drive a results-oriented culture with a strong focus on execution, quality, and speed
Manage a remote / distributed team of 4-8 engineers
Work closely with your team members through the entire development cycle (requirements, design, implementation)
Work closely with product and QA teams to ensure all features are on track in time and with good quality
Be a strong mentor and coach to the team
Your Experience
BS/MS in Computer Science, other engineering/technical degree, MBA preferred or equivalent military experience required
6+ years of experience in highly technical roles in development or enterprise services, at large organizations or innovative startups
2+ years of experience in managing teams
Hands on experience in the last 5 years
Strong domain expertise in security, networking, cloud infrastructure or SaaS
Knowledge of cloud lifecycle deployment and automation frameworks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with cloud-native technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, etc - Advantage
Experience with collaborate with distributed / remote team - Advantage

The Prisma Cloud team is responsible for building products that protect data, workloads and infrastructure for some of the largest enterprise customers in the world. We help the customers in their journey to the public cloud by ensuring they have the best in class protection. The public cloud market has been growing at a very rapid rate for the last few years. As more and more enterprises leverage public cloud, there is an insatiable demand for securing workloads in public cloud.
