General Description:
HRL Laboratories, LLC is seeking an experienced and strategic Manager of Recruiting to lead our talent acquisition efforts. The Manager of Recruiting will oversee a dedicated team of technical, non-technical, and university recruiters and be responsible for setting the strategy and driving initiatives to attract top talent across various fields, including highly specialized technical roles.
Essential Duties:
Lead & Develop Team: Manage and mentor a team of recruiters, including technical and non-technical recruiters as well as a university recruiter, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Strategic Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies to identify, attract, and hire top talent for both technical and non-technical positions.
Full-Cycle Recruiting: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring seamless processes for candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
University Recruiting: Drive HRL’s university recruiting efforts, building relationships with academic institutions, overseeing campus recruitment strategies, and managing internship and entry-level hiring programs.
Technical Recruiting Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge of recruiting for technical roles to effectively source and engage highly specialized talent for critical positions within HRL Laboratories.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and build effective recruitment plans aligned with HRL’s business goals.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics to measure recruiting effectiveness, refine strategies, and report on key performance metrics to executive leadership.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including university recruiting; experience recruiting for highly technical roles is strongly preferred.
Proven team leadership and management skills
Strong understanding of technical recruitment for engineering, research, and other technical roles
Exceptional relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and candidates
Ability to analyze recruiting metrics to inform and improve strategies
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting/sourcing tools/technologies
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $132,765 - $165,983 + bonus + benefits.
