Job Description
The Products team is responsible for developing and delivering the future of payments in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our Product deployments are centered around growing our core business and enabling our digital solutions.
The Manager of Product Operations will ensure operational excellence across the LAC Product & Solutions organization. Candidate will support all operational aspects for the LAC Product & Solutions function including strategy support, reporting cadence, headcount management, employee training program design, and financial discipline.
Responsibility
Support product strategies formulation and other reviews.
Lead and Create the Monthly Business Review and bi-weekly newsletter detailing the status of our product initiatives.
Lead and Create the Quarterly Business Review.
Create Product Performance dashboards.
Business case creation support for new product deployments and development requests.
Track our investment progress and work closely with our finance business partner to formulate team yearly budgets.
Headcount management support for the LAC Products Function.
Manage the goal setting process and track our progress on a monthly basis. Obtain alignment across all our teams during the goal setting process.
Manage the LAC products training program in conjunction with Visa University. Align training topics to our product deployment priorities.
Engage broadly across product teams and functions such as Finance, Sales Excellence, Marketing, Visa University, amongst others.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD)
• Previous experience in financial services and/or payments industry.
• Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing or time sensitive priorities, assignments, and roles.
• Self-starter who is curious, committed to ongoing learning.
• Natural collaborator, team oriented, and flexible with demonstrated capacity to function across various teams throughout various geographies.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and adept at multi-tasking.
• Strong analytical (qualitative and quantitative) and problem-solving skills and applying these strategically.
• Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities that results in the ability to communicate effectively with and synthesize information for executive level audiences.
• Solid skills in core business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
