General Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) and Travel Manager to join the HRL Finance team. The Accounts Payable and Travel Manager should possess strong leadership abilities to lead a team of approximately 10 direct reports. The candidate should have at least five years of successfully managing the AP and Travel processes for mid to large-scale companies.
Essential Duties:
Responsibilities will include the oversight of the AP and Travel functions to ensure prompt and accurate processing, payment, and accounting of all trade payables and employee travel expense reports.
Develop and implement best practices for accounts payable and travel processes in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, resolving any invoice discrepancies and Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures for the accounts payable process to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Required Skills:
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, compliance regulations, and internal controls.
Proficiency in accounting software and systems, with a strong aptitude for learning new technology.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in finance or business required, Master’s degree in finance or business preferred.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $109,695 - $137,145 + bonus + benefits.
