As the Mortgage & Banking Relationships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong ties between our company and financial institutions and facilitating mortgage and banking solutions for Bayut clients. You will also be instrumental in navigating financing options, negotiating agreements, and ensuring optimal rates and terms for our clientele.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify a spectrum of financing options tailored to meet the diverse needs of Bayut’s clientele;
- Forge strategic partnerships with financial institutions through the negotiation and signing of MOUs and contracts, outlining mutually beneficial terms for financing our clients' endeavours;
- Proactively manage and nurture relationships with financial institutions to secure competitive leasing rates and favourable financing conditions for our clients;
- Oversee the entire process of client mortgage applications, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission to financial institutions;
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Bayut clients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues related to mortgage applications with professionalism and efficiency;
- Analyse application performance metrics, generate insightful reports and propose strategic improvements to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency;
- Represent Bayut at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings related to banking and mortgage financing, fostering brand visibility and cultivating valuable connections within the financial sector;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as Sales and Legal to ensure alignment on client needs, deal structures, and compliance requirements throughout the financing process;
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in mortgage banking and financial services, providing strategic insights and recommendations to enhance our competitive advantage;
- Work with the Marketing team to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to promote our company's mortgage and banking services, leveraging digital channels, industry publications, and targeted outreach campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones;
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of financial institutions, assessing their responsiveness, reliability, and adherence to agreed-upon terms, and advocate for necessary adjustments or alternative partnerships when warranted;
- Manage and motivate the team to achieve individual and team performance goals;
- Monitor and evaluate team & individual performance, addressing any issues promptly and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of previous experience in Real Estate and Mortgage Financing;
- 2+ years of people management experience.
Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of mortgage products, banking regulations, and financial market dynamics;
- In-depth knowledge of commercial avenues;
- Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
- A deep understanding of the market services/products;
- Understanding of real estate sales;
- Ability to accurately forecast sales;
- Ability to analyse data to find trends and problems.
