Gearset is the leading DevOps platform for Salesforce, and we’re looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to drive our marketing strategy forward. If you’re someone who thrives on using data to make informed decisions, loves optimising processes, and wants to play a key role in our growth, this could be the perfect role for you.
What’s the opportunity?
As the Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our marketing efforts, ensuring everything we do is efficient, effective, and aligned with our growth goals. You’ll be the go-to person for all things data, helping us to continually refine our strategies, optimise the customer journey, and make sure we’re always investing in the most impactful initiatives.
In this role, you'll
-
Optimise our Marketing Performance: Dive into the data to uncover what’s working (and what’s not). Use these insights to shape our marketing strategies, making sure we’re always focusing on the channels and campaigns that deliver the best results.
-
Drive Growth with Data-Driven Insights: Build and implement measurement frameworks that give us a clear picture of our marketing performance. Help the team understand what’s driving growth and where we need to focus our efforts.
-
Enhance the Customer Journey: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to map out and refine every touchpoint along the customer journey. Identify opportunities to improve the experience from the first interaction, conversion, and beyond.
-
Lead Strategic Planning and Execution: Lead the development of marketing operations strategies that support our overall marketing plan. Ensure that our campaigns are well-coordinated, effectively executed, and aligned with our growth objectives.
-
Resource Allocation and Efficiency: Oversee our marketing budget and resource allocation, making sure we’re getting the best possible ROI. You’ll ensure that our resources are used efficiently to drive the best outcomes for both the company and our customers.
-
Foster Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing our processes, tools, and technologies. Recommend and implement enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation, including sales, product, and customer success teams, to ensure alignment and support broader business objectives. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leveraging data to drive marketing success, enhancing customer experiences, and contributing to the overall growth of Gearset.
What you’ll achieve
-
Improve the Performance of Marketing Campaigns: Develop and implement strategies to attract high-quality traffic to the website. Continuously analyse campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to ensure maximum effectiveness and return on investment.
-
Optimise Website Performance (Conversion Rate Optimisation): Lead efforts to enhance the website’s user experience and conversion rates. Conduct A/B testing, analyse user behaviour, and implement best practices in CRO to turn visitors into leads and customers.
-
Enhance the Trial Experience for Users: Work closely with Product, Sales Development and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless and engaging trial experience. Identify and remove friction points, gather user feedback, and implement improvements that increase trial conversions and user satisfaction.
-
Data-Driven Insights and Reporting: Regularly analyse and report on key performance metrics related to traffic quality, website performance, and trial success. Provide actionable insights to inform marketing strategies and business decisions. Ensure processes are designed, documented, understood, and followed in a way that minimises bad or incomplete data. Continually work to simplify systems and processes, avoiding customisation bloat and over-engineered processes.
-
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with marketing, product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and drive cohesive strategies that enhance the overall customer journey and business outcomes.
-
Implement Best Practices and Innovations: Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in marketing operations, CRO, and customer experience. Implement best practices and new technologies to continually improve performance and stay ahead of the competition.
