As a client consultant within Nielsen’s Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) practice, you will be a trusted advisor to a selection of major advertisers across multiple verticals (including technology, automotive, travel and financial services). You will be responsible for building and delivering executive presentations to show how clients’ marketing activities are working to drive key business performance metrics, and how they should most effectively use their budget in the future. You will build ongoing partnerships and networks with key client stakeholders, to deepen our relationships and mutually improve both client and Nielsen outcomes. Ultimately, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue goals for your clients by delivering with excellence in order to drive renewal, upsell and expansion of our MMM business at each client.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders to drive client retention and renewal, by demonstrating tangible value through outcomes.
- Deliver proactive insights and action oriented solutions to clients by:
- Diagnosing drivers of a business, translating those drivers to data and implementing them into a marketing mix evaluation.
- Transforming MMM results into tangible and actionable insights and recommendations.
- Being aware of best practices in storytelling, client communication, and consultative expertise.
- Managing scope, expectations and timelines of complex, high stakes deliveries.
- Partnering with your clients to provide the best marketing plan based on the results of analysis and optimizations.
- Proactively providing subject matter expertise to both clients and colleagues.
- Coach & support local Customer Success consultants to deliver best in class insights and enhance the team’s ability to become fluent across all industries.
- Contribute to internal Consulting team initiatives.
Qualifications/Competencies:
- 4+ years of marketing consulting and/or analytics experience, ideally including Financial Services, Technology, Automotive, Telco, and/or Retail
- Consultative story-telling ability to turn data into insight and package for a C-suite audience to maximize impact
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Successful track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets of $1M+
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling several projects at a time while meeting deadlines
- Experience in managing scope, expectations and timelines of complex, high stakes projects
- Experience managing teams through direct lines and indirectly through influence; ability to coach & mentor more junior associates
- Bachelor degree required, advanced degree preferred
- Fluent in English and ideally Mandarin/Cantonese.
